Long term and permanent residence

I have long term residence, living in BGN more than Protected content (expat UK). I owned two company in BGN and sole professional worker.

I'm curious what is requirement to apply for permanent residence, is there good reason to consider this where one might say that long term residence is more than sufficient even UK is quiting the EU (still waiting for new for right to work in EU part).
