Long term parking in Europe for foreign plates

I'm looking for a long term parking solution to my foreign plated car in Europe. I am on a long trip (We are 1.25 ways around the world. Next year I expect to continue to Asia via Mt. Elbrus) and we (my car and I) are currently in Austria / Hungary, but I have to leave by Sept. 1 to take a 10 month contract, and so I have to leave my car somewhere for this duration. Parking it on the street is not a good option.

A secondary concern is that leaving it in one place is not so good for the car because as I understand it, the gas breaks down and winds up coating the engine with residue leading to seriously diminished performance.

I wasn't sure of the best forum to post this in, but...
Any ideas / suggestions?
