Making frequent international calls, best app with

Hello all. I travel a lot to Australia, and I need to make a lot of short international calls quite frequently (probably anywhere from Protected content day), so i need a good recommendation for an app that has no connection fees, as there seems to be a million different applications these days. if it makes a difference, i will be calling multiple contacts throughout southeast Asia.
