Moving to Switzerland, from South Africa

Hi all.

I would really appreciate comments from people currently residing in Switzerland. I am 18 years old, currently working as an IT Technician in South Africa. Due to all the events that are unfolding in South Africa, I've decided to start looking for other options. Moving to a other country.

I know that it is very difficult to move to Switzerland not being a European Citizen, but is it still possible? My girlfriend has a International Chef qualification, and I have various International IT qualifications.

She would be interested in being an Au Pair, just until we can find our feet. I would also look for any IT Jobs before we make the final call.

People residing in Switzerland. Is it a good thing moving to the country, is it worth moving?

What do we look for, where can we get some tips and advice. I would gladly appreciate any comments and help.
