Moving To Valencia

I plan on moving to Valencia for Protected content . I will attending the city university, but besides that am still grasping at strings for what my life will be like there.
I was wondering if any other expats would have any advice as to job seeking, living expenses, the best spots and things to do and such?
I know that is general, but having never lived in Europe I have not much to go by.
