Native Speajers or Trained Teachers

Here it is te debate, what is best, a Native Speaker or a Graduated Teacher in Modern Languages for leaning a language???

I personally think Academics is the foundation of the learning, perhaps native speakers might help you in further stages to become fluent

However now many expats who never have been involved in education work as Languages teachers in the countries where they live....

What is your Opinion???
