Paris (14eme/15eme Arr) - Plaisir Gringon help!

Hi everyone,

I am looking at doing some work with a contact of mine in France for approximately 2 months. My contact works in Grignon (20km west of Paris Protected content train ride) a few days each week. As this is a short term assignment for me, I'm looking at locations to live/work/enjoy living in France for the 2 months.

In order to best utilize the train system and also get some time to play in Paris, I've narrowed down living locations to three areas:
Plaisir-Grignon, Versailles-Chantiers, or the 14eme/15eme arrondissement in Paris near the Gare-Montparnasse.

Does anyone live in this area or has lived in this area who might be able to help me make a decision? I am interested in convenience of access to groceries/markets, cafes/libraries to do work, and safety for walking/running.
