Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica??

Greetings all,

This is my FIRST OFFICIAL POSTING on the boards here on InterNations. I'm thrilled to see so many experts and travel fans up here and I can't wait to communicate or meet up with you more in the future.

My ultimate goal is to spend my retirement years in Costa Rica. I'm planning an exploratory trip within the next year, and I was wondering if there is anybody that has insight into the Playa Hermosa or Playas del Coco area of the country. I'm particularly interested in real estate, taxes, cost of living, healthcare, transportation, and other issues that might be of concern as I research this topic.
