Reverse culture shock

I recently began a series of interviews with people about reverse culture shock.

I’m collecting information about the challenges expats faced when they returned home. And those that have stayed with them, if any.

Reverse culture shock is considered to be more challenging than the culture shock of going to another country. But it’s not widely explored and understood.

I’d like to expand my own understanding of how it affects returning travelers and expats, and hopefully discover if there are any tried and tested solutions. Or maybe together, we can figure out new ways to deal with it.
