Richest country in the world and it's poverty rate

The U.S., the richest country in the world, has a 14.3% poverty rate. That is 43.6 million people. Or, 53% of Germany's total population. Germany has the same 14.3%, the third richest country, after Japan. Germany however has a social system to aid those in need. The U.S. has almost 7x more wealth than Germany. NYC has 667,200 millionaires, that is the population size of Germany's 5th largest city, Frankfurt.
