Rude to our Own, Courteous to Others

Don’t we sometimes get our priorities wrong?

We are courteous to a stranger and give him or her the first right to sit, but forget to open the door of the car for our own lady!

We quickly say sorry to a stranger for a small mistake, but yell at our own people even when we are at fault!

We are courteous while starting and finishing a telephone conversation with an acquaintance, but are indifferent to our dearest ones!

We drop someone not so important home or to a far off place, but refuse to extend the same courtesy to the persons who actually matter in our lives!

What do you say?
