San Fran Plan - how to raise enough money

Hi everyone,

I'm a performance artist and Creatrix of Awesome based in Brisbane, Australia. I've recently been accepted for a 3-month arts residency in San Francisco to work on performance projects related to perspectives on gender and sexuality as a female queer migrant minority. I've been making lots of connections and am really excited to go.

Currently I am crowdfunding for funds to get there (residency fee and flights):

as I am on an Australian bridging visa I am not eligible for most funding, such as grants, scholarships, credit cards, or loans. I work freelance/casual and have been busy looking for all sorts of jobs, but it's highly irregular.

Where else could I go to find funds and support? Do you know of anyone who would be happy to sponsor me?
