Self driving cars, will you buy one?

Ford have said they will bring the first commercial self driving cars onto the market in only 4 years. Will you buy one?
I think my decision would depend on the ability to be able to override the system whenever I choose and not the other way around.
A proposal currently on the table is making a new regulation that allows only self driving cars to drive in one of the shared lanes on the Seattle Vancouver freeway.
Apprently there have been coverups of a few people who have been killed by self driving cars so why would they do this?
I love technology but not if it not yet ready for the task.
