Small STUDIO or ROOM and JOB

Hi dear All, I'm Elena, from Barcelona and moving to London from Dec 10th to last days in February. My goal is to improve my oral informal English. Looking for a small studio or a room into a flat.
Also need a job. I don't have high pretensions because I understand it is not easy to get a job immediately.
Could be as Assistant in Events, Congresses, or sporting events helping in Information, Hospitality desk, could be in dep. stores or boutiques or in a perfumery shop.
My languages are: Spanish, Russian, English, French and basic Italian and German.
