Spouse Visa to USA from Australia

Hi everyone,

I am from Philadelphia, but currently living in Melbourne, Australia with my Australian husband. We would like to move to Philadelphia next year (we are beginning the process of applying for a Spouse Visa for my husband).

However, it seems a major part of the application is the necessity of a US address and job for me. Ideally, we would like to move together, at the same time. Has anyone been through a similar situation? Is there a way for us to still apply for the visa without a current US address? Everything I've read so far stresses the importance of me being "domiciled" in the USA.
