I down graded my account the last time and you have taken the money I will now go to my bank and the financial services ombudsman . You are disgusting , absolutely disgusting !I did the downgrade within a couple of months of joining on your system. Your system has failed you are unethical and this cannot continued. After down grading I also had a message saying my membership of Albatross would still be available of course because I had paid for the first year. There is no way you can be allowed to get away with this.

I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy that your Albatross Membership was automatically renewed. We operate on an automatic renewal system as a convenience for our active members so that they don’t miss out on any events or other premium features.
The information that your Albatross Membership will be automatically renewed is displayed in several places:
•First, you can find it at the top of your Membership page.
•The information is also included in each of your invoices. They can always be accessed on your Membership page.
•In addition, it is clearly stated in section 8.1 of our Terms & Conditions, which you agreed to when you joined InterNations.
Please note that we will therefore not be able to issue you with a refund of your Albatross Membership fees.
To make sure your Albatross Membership will not be automatically renewed again at the end of your current subscription period, I advise you to downgrade your account now.
1.Log into InterNations and go to your profile, click on the “⋮” button and then click on Login & Basic data. Scroll down.
2.Click or tap on “Change membership” and then on "No, thanks".
3.Check your reasons for downgrading and enter your password.
4.Press “Downgrade” to avoid any further automatic renewals.
Once this process is complete, you’ll still be able to make full use of your Albatross Membership until the end of your subscription period at which time your account will return to Basic Membership.

You took a payment of 71 pounds from my bank account despite me going through all the procedures to revert from albatross membership. I made the change on your site as instructed online.
