Swedish and American citizen getting married...

Hi! Im dying to get some proper knowledge and answers on this challenge me and my boyfriend have been facing. He is a Swedish citizen and I an American. We love one another deeply, practically fairytale. I live in Sweden but soon must move back for family reasons and we want to get married but have no idea how to go about, the time it takes, and everything that comes along. We hate having to spend a majority of our realtionship apart due to the country separation. Please.. someone help!!!! Especially someone who has the same experience... thanks !
