Temporary Move to Malaysia

My wife and I are thinking of making a short-term (i.e., 90 day) move to Malaysia in January Protected content . Any recommendations would be appreciated. We initially were looking at Penang but may decide to move around the country to get the full experience. We are just starting our retirement and will be looking at several countries to determine where we possibly want to live.
