The anti-western syndrome

I come across lot of people in my office who suffer from 'anti-west syndrome'. US, Israel and the UK are the subject of discussion or hostility. Honestly, I get very irritated when I have to listen to such discussions because I find them futile and baseless.

No, I am not trying to say that the West is holy cow as there is no necessity to be so.

While it is fair to criticize certain policies of a nation, its insane to be 'anti-west', for that matter 'anti-any country'.

Country means citizens, not just handful of policy makers in government. When you say you are 'anti-US', you actually say you are against Protected content US citizens.
