German Chancellor Angela Merkel has been named Time's Person of the Year despite criticisms from many Germans that she is the Person who ruined Germany for Germans, though not for the newly welcomed 1 million migrants.
Sincere condolences to the other candidates who lost (which reads like a Fiend Folio of world terrorists): Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, and ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi (seriously, I am not making this up!). I am sure their heroic accomplishments in the pursuit of world peace would be recognised by Time magazine in Protected content .
