ToR Returning to England customs rules

I am about to send stuff from China to England (by Sevenseas shipping who are absolutely useless) and have just been hit with ToR rules and forms.
I have lived in China nine of the past ten+ years and am at a loss with these forms as my situation is complicated.
Can anyone give advice, experiences etc please.
Otherwise I could be landed with a huge customs bill.
