Transcending medical frontiers

Aggressive Western medicine is finally opening up to more natural, body-friendly therapies.

One example is an *antibiotic discovered in the human nose - it shows promise in fighting super bugs. Another example is **'immunotherapy, a treatment that boosts the body's own natural defenses to battle cancer.

Alternative practitioners have long known the value of looking inward. Homeopaths, for example, question why we automatically take medication to suppress a fever: this prevents our own immune system from tackling the problem organically.

In many cases, transcending (all) borders can prove invaluable to humanity - but only if we allow it.
