Traveling to Portugal

Hi everyone!

My boyfriend and I are looking to travel to Portugal this summer. I have never been there, so I am not really sure where to go. We have been told that Lisbon and Algarve are "the" places to visit. Can anyone give us any tips on cities to go to, "must sees", hotels to stay in? I would love it if someone could help us!
