Turkish Trial about German Marco fair?

Here in Turkey there is a court trial at the moment which drwas pretty much international attention (you might have heard of it). It casts a damning light on Turkey and I’m interested to get your opinions on it (would be great to have some Turkish ones):

Marco, a Protected content German is accused of harassing a 13-year-old British girl named Charlotte while on vacation in Turkey. He denies the charges, he said they only kissed and flirted and it was of mutual consent and that the girl told him she was 15, not her true age of 13... he has been in a Turkish prison since April 11th!!

Now, please do not consider if he actually is guilty or not, do you think he is receiving a fair and just treatment? Keep in mind: so far it is only his statement against hers, there are no witnesses.

My impression is that the Turkish courts are just dragging this on and on where it is not necessary.. jujst on Tuesday the trial has been postponed again, because Charlotte’s testimony has not yet been translated. I think this prolonging is close to a breach of human rights.. For example Article 8 of the Universal Declaration of Human states, “Everyone has the right to an effective remedy by the competent national tribunals for acts violating the fundamental rights granted him by the constitution or by law.”
