Unsuccessful in securing a job abroad

Hello all.

I have been looking for an opportunity to work in embedded software development since Nov Protected content . This field is very close to my studies (computer engineering) and I have a keen interest in it. Unfortunately, I have yet to secure a single interview. There's something wrong, and I'm not sure if it's me or if it's something else. Here's a little bit about myself and what I did.

* About me:
I have a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in computer engineering from highly reputable universities in Jordan. I defended my thesis in April Protected content got my master's degree in July Protected content .

* How am I searching for work:
I started by applying to local companies in Jordan. The number of companies that work in embedded technology is very limited. So I made a LinkedIn profile and started to look in the GCC region. The number of opportunities was slightly better but not big enough. When I started looking abroad, I immediately noticed the huge amount of vacancies in embedded software development. I applied for positions in UK, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Germany, and recently in Austria. I did my best to apply for positions where my skills fit the criteria (most are junior or fresh grad positions).

* What work experiences do I have:
Most of my work experience is related to customer support. In my first job, I worked as technical support for a company that develops software tools. In my latest job as an operations executive, I was in direct contact with clients. I tried to look for a technical support position that also combines embedded development, yet I couldn't find much and I also got rejected from one that I applied to.

* Some other pieces of information:
I have acquired a B1 German language certificate in Protected content , but I didn't practice the language much. I am now practicing and I believe I can manage myself in simple situations in German.
During my search, I realized that I am highly likely to get a Job Seeker visa in Austria, but I am not sure if this will be of any help.
Also, during my search, I believe I can easily get a work permit in the UK if I get a job offer based on the new points system.

* What I hope to gain from this post:
Any tip from the expat community is highly appreciated. If you have insights about the job prospects or market in the mentioned countries or other countries, then please share them with me. Maybe even suggest other countries to look for a job in. If you have recently had a career shift, what did you do to secure your current job? If you work in embedded systems development, then let's connect and have a chat; I would love to hear from an expert what I am missing or doing wrong.

Thank you very much. I hope this wasn't a boring read. One final note: I'm not asking for work, I just want to know what I am doing wrong or what I am missing.
