Job Description:

Develops, implements, maximises, monitors and evaluates the hotel’s Sales Strategy (goals, tactics and actions) to achieve and exceed forecasted revenue figures in Rooms, Food and Beverage, and all other revenue generating departments.

Oversees the preparation and update of the Sales Departmental Operations Manuals.

Handles all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to ensure problems are resolved satisfactorily.

Reviews sales files and systems to ensure correct booking procedures, including group room and meeting programme history, contractual agreements, room block analysis, credit and payment documents, etc.

Maximises employee productivity through the use of multi-skilling, multi-tasking and flexible scheduling to meet the financial goals of the business as well as the expectations of the guests.

Strategically analyses business performance to facilitate accurate and meaningful forecasting, 
involving the respective Heads of Department as appropriate.

Constantly monitors and evaluates local, national and international market trends, and the competitor hotels’ sales initiatives, in order to make sure the hotel’s marketing and sales remain competitive and cutting edge.

Be aware of community, business, political and social factors that may affect the hotel’s financial performance.

Directs and coordinates all selling activities and communicates these activities throughout the hotel.

Assists the Director of Sales and Marketing to review and evaluate the effectiveness of selling activities and adjust as necessary to achieve or exceed the objectives as outlined in the Annual Marketing Plan.

Assists to communicate closely with the WWSOs and key sister hotels, and updates them regularly regarding key hotel sales information

Plans and implements effective training programmes, including all required Driving Customer Preferences Courses, for employees in coordination with the Training Manager and Departmental Trainers.

Conducts half yearly and annual Performance Development Discussions and supports employees in their professional development goals.

Responds to changes in the Sales & Marketing function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.


Master Degree/ Bachelors Degree
12 years experience in Hospitality Industry or related industry
7 years Management Position
Ability to speak other Asian Language
Willing to relocate in Siem Reap, Cambodia
