This is a scary story. I have no idea of the rights and wrongs of the case against this man, but judging by comments posted in the main LA newspaper there are a whole lot of people who are rooting for him. The mainstream media organs are on the side of the Police, but the alternative media in general reckons the LAPD is a criminal gang out of control. Who knows where the truth lies? How are we to tell? We non-Americans aren't affected directly, of course; but the way things are going in the world,one day we might be in the same situation.
