Weekly meetings of jobseekers in Zurich

Dear IN members,
I have cofounded an organization for jobseekers by jobseekers and have encountered many IN members who by now are unemployed. We are non profit and meet every week on a Thursday afternoon at 2 pm in Zurich. As we have many specialists, it is an excellent group for help to self-help, but IN Engagement team seems to think this event, posted in the Zurich Business & Networking group, must be exclusive, which is not and have therefore taken down our post for this weeks' meeting. Please find below their astonishing explanation for deleting the event:

It’s great to see you posting activities!

Activities are a special feature for Albatross Members. InterNations prides itself on being an exclusive network and by posting activities on other platforms, we cannot guarantee this standard.

As InterNations Activities should not be duplicated on other social networks, the Side effects of job hunting – best practice activity has been removed as it has been posted on Meetup and because was linked to an organization that the host promotes and/or works for. We're afraid that is a breach of our guidelines.

You’re welcome to re-post another get-together, but please make sure it’s only for our Albatross Members, and unique to InterNations.

I am utterly appalled by so much ignorance and lack of understanding. In these harsh times it is about helping each other to get back on their feet rather than being worried about the exclusivity of events.
Sad to see that there is so little engagement on the part of what IN sees as their leadership team, obviously out of touch at times with reality. For those who are interested, please do get in touch.
