What Makes Someone a Visionary?

It seems to me in a world burgeoning with ''Life Coaches'' and "Life-Guru Allsorts"; (something that strikes me as an anomaly at best).... it is as easy to be become an instant Visionary today as it is to become an overnight celebrity just for being in a reality TV show.
