What makes up a global mind?

I am new to InterNations and trying to complete my profile, there is the field about "What makes me a Global Mind". First I thought it is simple to fill in that part, however, the more I thought about it, the more I realize that it is not so clear for me. A global mind is probably the result of more than a multinational, multilingual background. There might be deeper aspirations, believes, values and choices leading to a global mind.

I have a baby boy and the second is on his/her way. Those kids will be American/German citizens with roots in Egypt. Will they simply become global minds due to this background? or is there specific values and ideas they should experience in order for them to have a chance to be global citizens one day?

Any thoughts?
