Who pays for the date?

Gareth Jones posted a thread like this back in Protected content after nearly 3,000 replies was discontinued by QAT purportedly for certain members not following forum guidelines. This his from his original:

If you are going to contribute to this debate then please explain your views. Just saying "I think the man should pay" or "I think the woman should pay" is not moving the debate forward.

A question for the ladies:

You are on a first date with a man and you have had a nice time. The meal is over and the bill comes to the table. Do you:
1 - Not move and let the man pay. Say thank you as you leave.
2 - Offer to pay to be polite but then let him pay.
3 - Insist on paying 50% of the bill
4 - Insist on paying for what you had
5 - Say thank you and offer to get the bill next time.

I have an opinion but I will let others join in first.
