General questions about Myanmar and travel (Yangon)

Hello everyone: (a bit off topic but not much.)

I will be travelling with my wife to Myanmar in early June, I have checked a lot of travel forums, but I can certainly appreciate some local input on a couple of matters..

As it is my first trip I will only go to the main destinations, i.e. Yangoon, Mandalay, Inle Lake and Bagan

1.- ATM´s and foreign cards, I understand it is now possible and easy to use them?. I will be using VISA debit cards from the US and Chilean VISA or Mastercard debit cards. Please advise if this right, as a lot of travel forums suggest to bring US$ in cash (which I normally do not like)

2.- I will be flying in from Bangkok, any suggestions in terms of where to go first and how to move inside Myanmar. I intend to fly between these destinations.

3.- Finally any other local suggestions are more than welcome
