Getting US $ to Myanmar (Yangon)

Has anyone successfully transferred funds from a private US Bank to Yoma Bank in Yangon. I have opened a US Funds account and was assured that they had many Americans transferring money, but I have hit a wall. Several banks have suggested that financial banking in Myanmar is banned by Dodd-Frank (not true), and that Treasury dept won't allow wire transfers. Specifically this is a private funds transfer from US account in my name to a Yoma bank account in my name. Sort of hard to live here without money.
