Meeting friends (Yaoundé)

Hello!
I am moving to Cameroon in the middle of October for two months. First, I am planning to stay in Yaounde, then move to Douala. I don't know anybody from the international community in these two cities and will be very happy to meet nice people.
Will be grateful for any tips on accommodation in both cities.
