Prescription laws in Croatia? (Zagreb)

I will be in Croatia in a couple of months and was wondering if anyone had any knowledge of the prescription laws. I've been on the road away from a regular doctor for awhile now and need a particular prescription. I'm in Turkey at the moment and it's available here, but the country appears to be out of it at the moment and they don't know when they'll have it, again. Here I don't need a prescription for it, but I most definitely would need one in the US.
Are the prescription laws in Croatia quite strict as far as requiring a script from doctor for medications?
