Advise for First Visit to Scope Things Out (Zurich)

My husband and I will be moving to Zurich in June/July this year. He is German. I'm American - neither of us have ever been to Zurich, but making the big jump. I'll be there for 3 weeks in February to visit friends and get a good feel of what to expect.

What would you all suggest to check out? Set appointments for looking for apartments? Possible job connections? Sites to see in the city?

We know we are making the move, but neither have jobs at this point - we're helping friends plant a crazy new idea for church and we can't wait!
