About Paul Bellard

A former detective, a riot cop and police unarmed defensive combat instructor, Paul suffered injuries in an incident on duty that ultimately left him :

• off sick with debilitating back injuries for a year,
• unable to walk for 4 months
• Requiring four-years of rehabilitation and with a debilitating spinal condition, unable to walk properly.

Diagnosed by a neurosurgeon that he would never walk properly again, he was physically and emotionally broken, Paul was forced to retire from the police force and everything in his life fell apart.

His story was one despair, depression and defeat, a real mess that became a message. Out of desperation came inspiration, an example of transformational turnaround from which we can all learn.
