Insurance disputes lawyer looking for work (Zurich)
I am an Australian-qualified (but working in London since February Protected content , 10 year PQE, insurance disputes lawyer moving to Zurich in February Protected content marrying my Swiss fiance.
In London, I specialise in both defending and prosecuting subrogated recovery property damage claims including those arising from contamination, fire, flood, nuisance and the right of quiet enjoyment, structural failure and collapse, subsidence, and catastrophic weather events. I also provide advice in relation to policy coverage.
I have also previously worked across product liability, professional indemnity and public liability claims (including in relation to fatalities and catastrophic injury), and also provided representation at Coroner's Inquests and Workplace, Health and Safety Investigations.
I have represented the interests of global insurers (including AIG, Allianz, QBE, Zurich), Lloyd's of London syndicates, large Australasian and UK insurers, publicly-listed companies (including Coca-Cola, Laing O'Rourke, Rio Tinto) and local authorities, and worked across a number of sectors including building and construction, chemicals, freight and transport, mining, and commercial and residential property.
I have both private practice and in house experience, including an emergency secondment to a large Australian insurer in the aftermath to the catastrophic Queensland floods in Protected content , to act as Team Leader and manage issues of policy response and brand reputation. Protected content
