Local Schooling and Cantons (Zurich)

Hi, we are moving to Zurich in July and currently trying to find a house & schooling. Unfortunately, we are having to leave International Schooling out this time and looking at local schooling. Wondering if any expats out there with experience of the local schooling and can recommend which areas and schools are best/"Foreigner Friendly" (English speaking as we need to still learn German). Two sons, ages 7&12 coming from an international schooling background from Asia. Also looking for any Mandarin lessons offered in CH, so that they don't forget what they've learned in Mandarin from living in Asia as well as having to learn German..... thanks!!
