moving furniture (from Germany into Switzerland) (Zurich)

Hello all - Does anyone have personal experience with moving furniture to Switzerland AFTER they've already been here for 6 months? I've done some research over google and I see that items need to have been USED within the last 6 months. I moved here in August, not knowing how long I would stay. Now that I know I am staying, I'd like to bring my things over... not sure if I will run into any problems. If anyone has any advice, would be greatly appreciated!! thanks

(I also have things in storage in the US, but I haven't lived there in nearly 5 years : if anyone knows how that might work for/against me... :) thanks)
