Moving to Switzerland (Zurich)

Hello everyone, we are locating to Switzerland. During the research on which town to live in, I noticed that taxes vary greatly. When the taxes are lower (e.g. Zug) then the real estate seems to be scarce and expensive. Could anyone give me some insight and opinions please? I need to be near an international high school. I'd like to live in a suburb or smaller town for the peace and quiet but close enough to a bigger city for shopping and entertainment. Thank you!
