Sat. night in Zurich. Where to stay in the cIty?

Hello all!

I will be taking a 4 day trip to Switzerland next week. Spending 2 days in Zermatt to snowboard and Saturday day and night in Zurich.

I am going with a coworker of mine, both of us are 32 and single.

Where would you suggest we stay in the city? We would like to be close to where the nightlife is, and with convenient public transport to the Zurich airport.

We were looking into going to one of the pub crawls. Has anyone had the pleasure of attending one before?
