sustainable future manufacturing (Zurich)

Hello Everyone :)
for several years I've been tracking technologies and development in this area like 3D printers hydroponics cultures earthships you name it.
My dream would be to design a completely self sustainable community but as an open source design so people can continuously develop on other people's ideas.
This is massive for just one person and by far too multidisciplinary but I think the technology is good enough to start thinking of it plus if we do nothing our environment is becoming completely destroyed.
I think these are enough good reasons to try to do something and I have a plan.
I was wondering if there is enough interest in this subject between people here before creating an activity group.
