There’s no doubt about it: Phuket offers expats a slice of paradise. The rain-forested island in the Andaman Sea is a mountainous city known for being home to some of Thailand’s most popular beaches, and for its high-end seaside resorts, relaxing spas, restaurants, busy markets, vibrant nightlife, and much more! With the available tuk-tuks, the Phuket Smart Bus and Blue Bus services, and motorbike taxis, navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in one of the smaller villages on the island such as Kamala, for example, which are a short journey away from Phuket’s center.
