The major port is a growing city known for not only its busy docks but also for its popular football club, universities, vibrant nightlife, plentiful shopping opportunities, and much more! With the available bus services and good road links, navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in the surrounding suburbs such as West End or Netley, for example, which are a 20 to 30-minute car journey away from Southampton’s center.
