Living in Tallahassee

The city of Tallahassee is the 128th biggest city in the United States of America. It is also the capital of the sunshine state of Florida, a role into which it came back in the year 1824. Tallahassee, also affectionately nicknamed ā€˜Tallyā€™, has a vast array of different neighborhoods within the city, with popular places to live in the Northeast of the city including Killearn and Southwood. In these areas, the lifestyle is much more suburban than in the city center and there are lot of parks, walks and activities to take part in within the community. Unsurprisingly, expatriates in Tallahassee will find that the most widely spoken language is English. However, the city is very culturally diverse with other popular languages spoken as a first language there including Spanish, French and German. Tallahassee offers many different attractions and things to do, with the most famous landmarks including the Old Florida State Capitol Museum and the Museum of History and Natural Science.
