InterNations — A Community for American Expats in Budapest

Hello to all Americans in Budapest! Are you interested in getting to know fellow expats in Budapest? Looking for advice from other Americans, e.g. wondering if there are any bars in Budapest which will be showing your favorite baseball or American football team’s upcoming match or where to go in town for st■ turkey?

There’s no doubt about it: Budapest is an up-and-coming expat hot spot. The Hungarian capital is a historic city known for its beautiful architecture, healing thermal waters, lively nightlife, and much more! With the bus and tram services or simply on foot, navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in the outer districts, which are — depending on your exact location — between half an hour to an hour away from Budapest’s center.

Although Budapest has lots to offer, you might be wondering where and how you can meet other Americans in the city. Luckily, InterNations is here to make this easier for you! You’re warmly invited to join the InterNations community. Within our international network in Budapest, there’s a vibrant circle of American expats from all regions of USA, including New York City, Los Angeles, and beyond.
