For me, the hardest thing about Budapest is that the locals are too serious and seem very unhappy. They lack a friendly attitude. — French expat living in Budapest

What disappoints me about Budapest is that the political and financial situation here is getting worse and worse. Inflation, the lack of competitive wages, and the exchange rate have had a very significant impact on my ability to travel and achieve financial stability. In addition, widespread corruption in the government and the lack of active efforts to fight discrimination against foreigners and minorities are having an increasingly negative impact on my life and my opportunities. — French expat living in Budapest
