There’s no doubt about it: life in Taipei might take some getting used to, but it will be well worth it. The capital of Taiwan is a very people-friendly city known for a number of famous architectural landmarks such as the Taipei 101 tower, its several night markets, a popular food scene, its beautiful natural surroundings, and much more! With the ever-expanding public transportation network serviced by MRT trains and city buses, navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in outer districts such as Neihu or Songshan, which are — depending on your exact address — sometimes a bit of a commute away from Taipei’s center.
