A couple of friends and I are organizing "Oktober-Filmtage". This will be the first year of our annual film days. Each year we'll focus on a specific topic and all the selected movies will be mainly related to that topic.
This year we'd like to consider one of the main problems cutting across everybody's lives regardless of their nationality, gender, religion, profession etc. The changing working conditions that affect each of us, historical background of the legal regulations that we mostly take them for granted and tend to forget their origins and importance will be the central points of our discussions.
Since organizing film days or cinema is not an aim in itself for us, but rather a tool that we can convey our ideas, drawing the attention to the topic, raising the awareness and triggering people to discuss about it and becoming a part of the solution, we intend to have a discussion part at the end of each day.
In the Uferpalast's link, you can find the details of the event. On the right hand side, you can also select the specific movie to get a brief information. Protected content
